Covid-19 update April 2021: Our rehoming centres are currently closed to the public for general browsing. We’re still rehoming virtually and we’re here to help if you can no longer care for your dog. Please don’t visit, or travel to our centres unless you have already been matched with a dog, or are leaving donations at one of our contact-free drop off points.

More for Scotland's Animals

Ask your future MSP to pledge to do More for Scotland’s Animals

In May, Scotland will have a new Government and 129 new and returning MSPs. We want to send a message to them that they must do more for Scotland’s animals in the next Parliament.

Our pets, as well as wild and farm animals, need better laws to protect them from harm and help them flourish. Newly elected MSPs will have the power to introduce these laws, but they will only do it if they understand how important animals are to their constituents.

More for Scotland’s Animals is a campaign run by eleven of the UK’s leading animal welfare organisations, including Dogs Trust. We're calling on all the candidates putting themselves forward to be an MSP to pledge to do more for Scotland’s animals, and you can help.

Speak up for Scotland's animals

Take action below - fill in your information, to send an email to all the MSP candidates in your constituency.

Your email will show them just how important animals are to their constituents and encourage them to pledge to take action on the issue. If they've already signed the pledge, they'll receive a thank you email from you instead.
