Gemma Whitlaw, Head Coach
Gemma has a BSc (Hons) in Animal Behaviour and Welfare from University of Bristol. Since graduating from University Gemma ran her own behaviour business offering group classes and one to one behaviour consultations. Additionally, she worked in a large veterinary hospital. She is now very excited to be part of the Dog School Team.
Lizzie Ashton, Senior Coach
Lizzie graduated from the University of Bristol with a First Class Honours Degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare Science. She has experience in numerous canine establishments and had a love for working with animals all her life but developed a particular passion and interest for canine behaviour and welfare. She previously worked as part of the West Midlands Dog School team before joining the Sussex team.
Lana-Mae Hamper , Coach
After graduating from university with a Zoology degree, coach Lana-Mae has gained experience working in the veterinary industry as well as for a rehoming charity. She is very interested in animal behaviour and is enjoying training dogs (and owners!) for Dog School.
Allie Kaufman, Coach
Allie graduated from Drama School with a BA Hons degree. She then devoted her time to Dogs Trust, working as a canine Carer, training and caring for the dogs in the rehoming centre. Allie is currently studying for her Level 6 Advanced diploma in Applied Animal Behaviour (Canine). Although not the conventional route into dog training, her previous training and experience has really helped her within her role as a Dog School Coach.
