School Trainers

Lana-Mae Hamper , Head Coach

After graduating from university with a Zoology degree, Lana-Mae realised her love of animal behaviour and has gained experience working in the veterinary industry as well as for a large rehoming charity. Lana-Mae has been with Dog School Sussex since early 2017, and loves training owners (and their dogs!). Lana-Mae is also an accredited member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (MAPDT 01454), and loves to learn more about dog behaviour and training.

Clare Ford, Senior Coach

Clare has a love for all animals, but dogs are her true passion. Clare has grown up with dogs her whole life and is especially interested in puppy development, and dog behaviour. She has a Border Collie rescue called Millie, who as you can imagine, is a bundle of energy and craziness.

Kate Thomas, Coach

After finishing studying animal management at college, Kate went on to gain experience caring for and furthering her understanding of dog behaviour working at the Shoreham Dogs Trust rehoming centre. Kate's aspiration has always been to work with dogs and help owners succeed with training. She has a cheeky and bouncy boxer dog called Charlie.
