Dogs Trust

COVID-19: Please note that all our rehoming centres are closed until further notice

In line with Government guidelines, our Contact Centre staff are now working from home. We are currently experiencing a very high number of enquiries, so there may be a slight delay in answering your calls and emails. Please bear with us, we will help you as soon as we can.

Dog School Volunteers

Volunteers are an integral part of the Dogs Trust team.

Volunteers help in many aspects of our vital and lifesaving work across the whole of Dogs Trust.  whether it is raising money at our events or in charity shops, giving a dog waiting for it’s new home some extra love and attention, or ensuring our centres look welcoming and attractive to visitors and potential adopters. Every role is so important to us and our success.

The aim of Dog School is to help owners to train their dogs in a kind, fair and effective way, which will enhance day to day living and enable the best possible relationship to develop between the owner and dog.

Dog Schools across the country are recruiting for volunteers to support and assist the Dog School Coaches during training classes - see our current vacancies below.
