Are you right for Harvey?

Sir Harvey Fluffsalot is simply Adorable (with a capital A) it doesn’t take him very long to build a firm bond and when he does he will be your constant companion. He is seeking an adult only home with no visiting children as Sir Harvey came back into our care after he showed aggression when overhanded. He would need his new family to meet him here at the Centre until he had built a bond with you before he can go home. He can live with another older calm dog pending a successful dog introduction here at our Centre, or he is also happy to have all the attention to himself. He will need regular trips to a professional groomer due to his breed. He is muzzled trained for the vets, although he is very tolerant to be handled once he has a bond. He would benefit from a quiet household where someone is around most of the time.

Is Harvey right for you?

Sir Harvey Fluffsalot is a 10 year old Lhasa Apso Cross who has lived most of his life in a home. He is currently enjoying his time with one of our lovely foster families. He is housetrained, he does have separation anxiety during the night so likes to be close, he really is a snugglebug and loves to cuddle up on the sofa with his favourite human. Any leaving hours would need to be built up slowly over time once he is fully settled in his new home. He is a picky eater he is on Hypoallergenic food due to allergies and is on ongoing medication Apoquel for his skin and long-term pain relief, if cost is a barrier to rehoming please do discuss this with staff. Once he has built a bond with you he does become more confident and comfortable with handling and will ask for all the cuddles. He is a sweet older gentleman who is looking for his forever companion a home to call his own and a comfy bed to snooze on.
