Are you right for Charlie?

Charlie is a gentle, sweet-natured little boy who can find kennel life a bit overwhelming. He loves human company and will happily wriggle up to his carers for fuss and affection. Charlie came into our care after his previous owner was no longer able to look after him, so we don’t have much information about his background. This means he may need some support with the basics of home life, such as housetraining and learning to feel comfortable when left alone. He’s still quite new to walking on the lead, but with gentle encouragement and the confidence he gains from his doggy friends, he’s already making great progress. We believe Charlie could live with another dog after a successful introduction here at the centre. Due to his sensitive nature, he would be best suited to a calm home with children aged 10+ who can understand his worries and give him the reassurance he needs. He would also love to have his own safe and secure garden where he can safely play and explore.

Is Charlie right for you?

True to his spaniel spirit, Charlie loves exploring the world around him, following his nose through the long grass and delighting in new scents. He’s also very food-motivated and thoroughly enjoys enrichment activities such as puzzle feeders and snuffle mats. He is a sweet lad who will blossom with the right family.
