Are you right for Olli?

As he has shown resource guarding behaviours before we have been working on some training that can be continued in his new home. However, his new home needs to be aware that he has shown aggression when feeling pressured to release an item/having item taken away from him, he has actively chosen to take himself away and hide, he will need a home that won’t challenge him over resources and can work on some co-operative boundaries together. He will need a female only home as well as an adult only household where he can be separated from male visitors due to the incidents previously. A private secure garden would be best, so he has space to zoom around. Although Olli likes to walk with dogs, he doesn’t want to share his space so needs to be the only pet in the home. He hasn’t been keen on being left previously so may need time alone building up.

Is Olli right for you?

Olli is a cheeky 4-year-old Lhasa Apso full of life and character ready to settle his paws into his new home! Olli loves to scoot around on walks and have playtime in our off-lead areas, he can be a cheeky boy and thinks it’s a game to be chased around. He likes to sit and have a fuss with his favourite people once he has had a formal introduction and some time to build his confidence with them!
