Are you right for Connie?

Connie is searching for her new home, and is looking for a family willing to give her time and patience to settle in and build up relationships. Connie’s ideal home would be with children aged 16 and over, with minimal visitors to help ensure she feels comfortable in her space. Connie really struggles seeing dogs when out and about, so would need to be the only pet in the home, with no visiting family dogs, and quiet walking areas. She will need to be muzzled when out on walks, but she wears this beautifully and doesn’t mind it in the slightest! She’s a very cleaver girl, and is enjoying her fun training sessions here at the Rehoming Centre, so adopters who would want to continue this and work her brain would be perfect. Connie loves outdoor adventures, and eagerly pulls towards the car in anticipation of fun walkies! She will need her own private and secure garden which she can zoom around in. Once settled, Connie can be left for 2-4 hours, providing this is built up gradually. She will need to meet her adopters multiple times prior to going home and may need a home trial to make sure she transitions smoothly into her new home. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes 7-10 days, but this can be longer depending on the needs of the dog.

Is Connie right for you?

Connie is a gorgeous 6 year old Husky cross, who is a fun and adventurous girl that loves to explore the world with her nose to the floor. Typical to her breed, she can be quite aloof, and will accept some gentle fusses but only briefly – she’d much rather find some fun toys to play with, or engage in a training sessions for some tasty treats. Connie is a gem and in the right home – she will be an amazing addition. If you could offer Connie a calm and predictable home, put an application in today.
