Are you right for Ella?

Meet Ella! She is an endearing and gentle girl who hasn't had the best start to her life. At 7 years old, she has been slowly introduced to more and more of life as a pet! She will now travel in the car, come up to you for some attention, and loves being brushed and walking on the lead. Ella won't desire the bigger comforts in life as it is not what she is used to, she much prefers to sleep at your feet instead of up on the sofa. Ella is looking for an adult only home without any other pets. She has made some doggie friends here at the Centre who she goes on off-site walkies with, so she is happy to greet other dogs when out and about. Although Ella has learnt and grown so much over the last 7 months, she still has some worries around handling. She will need to wear a muzzle for the vet, as she finds this particularly overwhelming. Our training team will be happy to discuss this further with potential adopters as they know Ella inside and out!

Is Ella right for you?

Ella is a fabulous girl and is a firm favourite amongst the training team! She is looking for an understanding adopter that will keep up with the hard work that has got Ella this far in her journey. She is a friendly girl who likes to lay beside you for affection, and her most favourite thing of all is getting out for multiple walks during the day. This girl is all about quality time! Ella's adopter should be able to be at home with her to begin with, and until she has adjusted to her new environment and routine. After that, she should be comfortable spending time by herself. Ella will need multiple meets prior to adoption, which will mostly be located at the adopter's home so that the training team can best support her transition from the Centre to home life. If you have the time, understanding, and love to give, then Ella could be the girl for you! If you are interested in this sweet girl, please include her as a 'Favourite' dog. Thank you!
