Are you right for Blossom?

Blossom is looking for a calm and quiet home with minimal visitors, with adopters who will take her on sniffy walks, who will help her to build her confidence and give her all the love and care she deserves. She would benefit from having a space that is hers alone, like a crate. She can be very worried by new people and needs a hands off approach to begin with, so is looking for a home with Sixth form/college aged children. Blossom could live with a calm and established dog of a similar size who will happily co-exist with her, this will be pending successful meetings at the centre, living with another dog is not a necessity though, she would be happy with calm and polite walking buddies, she cannot live with cats or other small furries. Blossom has had a slow start in her training and has only just learn to walk on a lead, she is willing to learn if training is broken down into bitesize sessions for a tasty treat. She will need housetraining in her new home, so access to a private, secure garden is needed. Blossom does settle nicely and could be left for up to 2-4 hours, this would need to be built up slowly once she has had time to settle into her new home. Blossom will need to meet her adopters multiple times prior to going home, with the potential for home visits to make sure that she is settling in nicely so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet her within 48hrs of being shortlisted.

Is Blossom right for you?

Meet Blossom, the sweetest little fluff ball, she is a 1 year old Finnish Spitz Cross who will take a little time to build a bond with you, but once she does, she will make the best companion. When she feels safe and comfortable she loves to chase toys and bounce around, like a pup, she enjoys exploring and sniffing her surroundings. She is quite a foodie girl and likes to snuffle for treats hidden for her. This special little Spitz is on the hunt for her new home.
