Are you right for Snow?

Snow is a sensitive soul with a gentle heart, and she is looking for a special kind of home—somewhere quiet, calm and full of kindness. At four years old, this beautiful Collie Cross is ready to take her first real steps into the world. She just needs a patient and understanding adopter who will let her set the pace and give her all the time she needs to settle in. Snow could live in an adult home or with children aged 14 and above, as long as the household is calm and her need for space is respected. She must have access to a fully secure garden and, just as importantly, a quiet, tucked-away spot of her own—somewhere she can retreat to if things ever start to feel a bit much. While Snow has had a brief taste of home life, she is still getting to grips with all the sights, sounds and routines that come with it. She is already 99% housetrained and comfortable with familiar indoor noises like the TV, washing machine and general household bustle. Snow will need to live with a calm and confident dog who can help her feel safe and continue to guide her as she settles. With the right support and plenty of training games she will find her paws and grow in confidence.

Is Snow right for you?

Once she feels safe, Snow’s true nature begins to shine. She is an inquisitive girl who loves exploring and watching the world around her. Although she is not a tactile dog, and may never be one for cuddles, she forms deep bonds with her people in her own quiet way—becoming your little shadow once she knows she can trust you. She adores her training sessions, and they are the perfect way to build a bond with her. Whether it is learning something new or working through a puzzle game, Snow loves using her brain and sees training not just as a task, but as a source of fun, enrichment and comfort. These activities are how she connects and finds joy. Snow is happiest with other dogs around and will sometimes join in play, but she also enjoys her independence and likes to take herself off for a bit of “me time.” She is not interested in toys but finds delight in tasty treats and gentle enrichment games. She must not live with cats or small furries. If you can offer Snow the time, space and understanding she needs, she will repay you with quiet loyalty and a beautiful, gentle companionship. Watching her grow in confidence is one of the most rewarding experiences you could hope for.
