Are you right for Fennel?

Fennel is an absolutely STUNNING 6yr old Alaskan Malamute who forms a strong and loving bond with his friends even though he needs a little space initially. He's a very large dog so not for the feint hearted, but he is very manageable once he knows you. He's not keen on dogs being too OTT with him but he’s fine from a distance. He’ll need to be the only pet in his home. He appears to be mostly house trained already, but a secure garden will be needed to refresh this and give him somewhere to explore and play off lead.

Is Fennel right for you?

Fennel really is a Big Friendly Giant and will flourish in a calm adult only home with adopters who want an affectionate dog to involve in all aspects of their lives. He’ll need multiple visits so he can build a relationship with you before he’ll be ready to fly the nest, and we’ll help and support his settling in period. You might want to do some reading on the Malamute breed to ensure you are able to offer him the life he needs, for example, he will require regular grooming to keep his stunning coat healthy. So, if you have a big space on your sofa for this lovely boy, add Fennel to your favourites now!

If we’ve found a dog who seems right for you, we’ll invite you to come and meet them at the rehoming centre.
