Are you right for Grace?

Are you searching for a loving and loyal canine friend who thrives on human companionship? Look no further than Grace! This sweet girl is ready to find her forever home where she can be the centre of attention. Grace prefers to be the only dog in the household, as she has had some trouble sharing her space with other dogs in the past. If you have kids aged 5 and up, you’re in luck! Grace has experience living with children, playing alongside them, and even sharing cosy moments with them. When it comes to alone time, Grace could be left for a couple of hours without you—2 to 3 hours is her sweet spot. She’s quite adaptable during that time and enjoys her own space, but she would thrive even more with some company to snuggle and feel safe. A private or secure garden would also be a fantastic bonus for Grace! It would give her the opportunity to enjoy playing and relaxing in a safe and secure outdoor space.

Is Grace right for you?

Grace is a one-year-old Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog cross Dogue De Bordeaux who is currently in our care through our Homestay scheme. Grace is a delightful girl who really enjoys being around people. She loves treats and is always ready to share her affection, making the time spent together truly special. While Grace enjoys human companionship, she can be a little hesitant around other dogs, especially if they get too close. Instead of confronting, she prefers to step back, which makes her a calm and manageable companion during walks or outings. She does okay in the car and travels reasonably well, though she may get carsick at times. If you’re looking for a loving dog with a gentle disposition, Grace could be the perfect addition to your life.
