Are you right for Donald?

Donald is looking for a home with a family who would be willing to give him all the love and adventures he deserves. Adopters will need to be understanding and willing to take on their breeds' grooming requirements. He would be able to live with children aged 10 years or older who would give him space when needed and understand he sometimes can be a little excitable with his treats! He could live with another calm and polite dog who would happily co-exist, though this is not a necessity. He would also be happy with walking buddies who are calm and polite. He cannot live with cats or any small furries. Unfortunately, Donald has not had masses of training in the past and therefore would benefit from all basic skills as well as any fun skills to build his confidence. Short and sweet training sessions with a tasty reward would be best for him. He will need housetraining in his new home so access to a private, secure garden is needed. Donald could be left for 2-4 hours once settled into his new home, but this should be introduced slowly once he has had time to get used to his new family and surroundings. Donald will need to meet his adopters multiple times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet himwithin 48hrs of being shortlisted.

Is Donald right for you?

Donald is a two-year-old Shih Tzu who loves fuss with his favourite people. He is a confident little lad with lots of love to give and guaranteed to light up any room he walks in to! He has really started to come out of his shell and now is choosing to sit on his humans lap he has become comfortable with and watch the world go by. This little chap is ready to find his new home.
