Are you right for Bear?

Bear is a friendly and energetic dog with a playful and affectionate nature. Originally found as a stray, we have limited information on his background, but our team have been working closely with him to determine what would make for his ideal home. While Bear loves to be around people, he hasn’t yet learnt his manners and can jump up excitedly to say hello. Because of this, and the lack of info on Bear’s history with children, we feel he would best be suited to a home where the youngest family members are of secondary-school age. Bear enjoys walking with other dogs and would benefit from having walking buddies but needs to build on his social skills and learn some ‘doggy etiquette’ before we would consider him sharing a home with another canine. Bear requires a quiet area of the house, where he can go to chill out and settle, and a garden of his own would be beneficial so that he could learn a toileting routine. Being a Pomeranian cross, Bear’s thick fur will need regular grooming to prevent his coat becoming matted or uncomfortable, so this is something that his adopters should be willing to cover costs for.

Is Bear right for you?

Bear is seeking an active and dedicated family, who can keep him busy with lots of fun activities, take him on exciting adventures, and work with him on some ongoing training. While he still has lots to learn, he has already shown so much potential and will make for an enthusiastic, engaging best buddy to the right home. He’s a very affectionate boy and loves a fuss, but as well as lapping up all the attention, Bear enjoys exploring on his walks, engaging in a game of fetch, and settling with a tasty chew. Could you be the forever family this sweet chap deserves?
