Are you right for Thor?

Thor is lovely boy, full or character. I seeking an adult only home, no visiting children due to him being nervous around new people and is worried around handling (has snapped). He is muzzled for vet situations and must be muzzled on lead in public places. He will need experienced owners who have knowledge/experience with nervous dogs, guarding behaviours and understanding of the breed. New owners must be willing to visit him multiple times at the Centre until he is comfortable and has a bond with his new owners. Thor needs a quiet home with not many visitors and able to give him space when he is feeling worried. Thor must be the only dog in the home as he can be reactive to dogs out and about on walks. And he will ideally need quiet walking areas where it is not overpopulated with people and dogs.

Is Thor right for you?

Thor is a 2 year old Pomeranian X who was returned to us due to guarding and showing aggression to people. He can be left for up to 4 hours and travels well in the car. He loves his creature comforts will curl up in a nice soft bed. He can guard treats/food so will need careful management and be left alone when eating. He would benefit from a a crate as his safe space where he can take himself away when he is worried.
