Are you right for Lisa?

Are you looking for a bit of a training project who is heaps of fun? Then take a look at Lisa! She has shown some worries around some unknown people so is looking for an adult only home. She loves to play and while she might not ask for fuss if play is an option, she is happy with handling when she knows you. Lisa has been able to share her walks with other dogs with management in place and she will need to be the only pet in the home. She can get excited and occasionally needs a reminder to keep all four paws on the floor but she is progressing fabulously with her training and with a family that will continue this (with our support) she will make an amazing companion.

Is Lisa right for you?

Lisa is a Rottweiler cross who is 2 years old. She originally came to us as she wasn’t getting on with the other dog in the home. She enjoys spending time with her favourite people, going on walks, and progressing through her training sessions. Lisa is a smart girl who loves her food which also makes a great positive reward! She would love to find patient owners who would be willing to help build up her confidence. As always, Dogs Trust will be on hand to offer support and guidance with this if required. Lisa has previously coped well with being left, and could be left for an hour or so to start with a view to building this gradually to ensure she is still happy. To help her on walks she would love quiet walks in low-dog-populated areas at first before building up to busier times. Luckily car travel is no problem for this fabulous lady so she can be driven to quieter areas. Lisa has remained housetrained during her stay with us and she is looking forward to being spoiled with lots of walks, treats and love.
