Are you right for Pugsy?

If you are looking for a cheerful companion who is always up for a bit of fun, Pugsy might be your boy! This sweet and playful Pug is full of charm and would love a home where his friendly nature and love of games can really shine. Aged around two years, Pugsy could live with children aged 8 and up, as long as they are respectful of his space, especially when he is feeling a little unsure. He can live with another dog but would also be perfectly happy as the only pet in the home. Pugsy is generally relaxed around dogs and enjoys meeting new people too, provided visitors are calm and gentle with their greetings. He is not used to being left on his own, so any time left alone should be built up gradually. Pugsy is not a fan of going to the vet and will need to be muzzled for handling, but our team will guide you through everything you need to know to help him feel safe and supported.

Is Pugsy right for you?

Full of life and always up for a cuddle, Pugsy is a total sweetheart once he feels comfortable. He has been friendly with everyone he has met at the centre and is keen to get involved in everything going on around him. He enjoys exploring new places and is always up for a game of chase or a burst of play with his toys. Pugsy is comfortable around traffic, but may need a helping hand getting in and out to of the car. He knows the basics (like “sit”) and would love a family who can keep building on that with fun training games and plenty of positive reinforcement. A moderate amount of daily exercise, along with a bit of mental stimulation, will keep this lovely boy happy and content. Pugsy has already won over plenty of hearts – and now he is ready to find his very own forever family.
