Are you right for George?

George can live with children over the age of ten but at his age he's less tolerant of other dogs so needs to be the only pet at home. He is house trained and happy to be left by himself for a couple of hours. George has had a handful of what may be short seizures over the last twelve months and is on daily medication to help. We're happy to discuss this further with any potential adopters.

Is George right for you?

Gorgeous George is an 11 year old pug who is current living the foster home high life! He’s a delight to have around, very cuddly and friendly and will happily park himself on any available knee. Although a mature gentleman, George still enjoys strutting the pavement and shouting at other dogs! At home he is very quiet and sleeps right through the night, only getting up when you do in the morning. George is a greedy boy and has been on a weight loss journey the last few months and has done brilliantly. He still enjoys his grub and tends to inhale it quickly so would benefit from a slow feeder to reduce any risk of stomach problems. He only has two teeth left so no crunchy biccies for him. George likes a quiet life and will bark at the TV if it’s in his line of sight, but if his bed is somewhere that he can’t see the Tv from, he’s much happier.

Choose a rehoming centre

We’ll review your application

We’ll review your application against the dogs in our care at your chosen centre. If we think we have the right dog for you, we’ll be in touch as soon as possible. If we don’t hear back from you, we will close your application for now, and you can reapply when you’re …

When we find a match, we’ll invite you to meet them

If we’ve found a dog who seems right for you, we’ll invite you to come and meet them at the rehoming centre.

Some of the dogs in our care will need to meet potential owners several times to get to know one another. This lets us see you’re compatible and gives you …

If we haven’t found the right match, we’ll continue the search together

If we haven’t found the right dog for you within three months, we’ll let you know your application is closed. We’ll invite you to apply again so we have up-to-date information about you, and we’ll keep looking.
