Are you right for Eggs?

Beautiful 1 year, 7 month old, poodle cross Eggs is a special boy who is now ready to find his forever home. Eggs has come to us with very little history, so a quiet, adult only home is essential. This lovely lad arrived here in a terrible state, and as a result cannot see. As he is blind, Eggs can find the world a scary place, so he needs understanding owners who are willing to work with him to build his confidence. He could potentially live with another calm dog, pending a successful dog mix here at the centre. Because he can't see he can be worried around new people at first, but once he knows and trusts you he's a very affectionate and loving boy. Slow and steady introductions will be needed over several meets at the centre, to build that bond before Eggs comes home with you.

Is Eggs right for you?

This little cutie's character is growing day by day, and he has gone from being a scared boy to a real character while in our care. He is currently in a foster home, and his foster Mum has made amazing progress with him; He is really blossoming, and his transformation has been incredible and heart-warming to witness. Eggs is now keen to start exploring the outside world, and enjoys being out and about walking. He is super keen to learn, and needs a new family to give him patience and understanding when learning along with him. Experience with a blind dog would be beneficial but not essential, as our training team will be on hand to help you every step of the way. Adopting a dog with special needs can be a very rewarding experience if you are willing to put in the time to adapt to them, and they will pay you back tenfold with so much love. Eggs is a truly special boy who really deserves an amazing forever home - could you take a chance on him?
