Are you right for Bree?

Beautiful Bree is a 4 year old girl who loves to play with her ball! She is a friendly lady who loves meeting people and is really playful! She would prefer to be the only pet in the home but could make dog friends on her walks as she does enjoy the company of some dogs, but she can be quite OTT off-lead. Bree has shown that she isn't comfortable around children so is looking for an adult only home, and this does include visitors. Bree would need to be kept on lead and we recommend that she is muzzled on her walks, as she can be reactive to some things like children or cyclists. This lovely lurcher would therefore like direct access to a private secure garden that has a 6ft fence so she can zoom around to her heart's content!

Is Bree right for you?

Bree has learnt quite a lot already whilst working with our training team during her time at the centre including focus work and settling. Bree isn't a fan of being left in the home by herself, so she does need a family who are able to be at home with her, and any time that she is left alone should be built up to very gradually over time. In her previous home, she struggled with settling so she would be best suited to an experienced family who can help give her time and space to settle in. This girl is brilliant and very loving, she also has a glowing report from her previous foster home. She will require multiple meets at the centre so she can become acquainted with her family before adoption. Bree is a wonderful girl who is lots of fun and will make a great addition to a home, but will require a caring and kind family. Animal Welfare licence number is AWE02, as licenced by Glasgow City Council.
