Are you right for Lucky?

Lucky is a 5 year old Lurcher looking for a home where he can be the only pet and any children are of secondary school age. Lucky is a clever boy who already knows "sit" and "down" and is keen to learn, he would benefit from some further training around walking on a loose lead and building his confidence around seeing other dogs out and about. Lucky can be worried by other dogs which he can show by being vocal towards them he will need to be walked on lead and muzzled when outside of the home and also due to his high prey drive towards wildlife such as rabbits and squirrels. He would like his own secure, reasonably sized garden to run around in and burn off some energy. Lucky is still in the early stages of his muzzle training so will be restricted to his own garden to begin with until he is fully wearing it comfortably. Our training and behaviour team can help advise his new family on how to continue his training in the home. He has been fine to be left for short periods of time and was house trained in his previous home

Is Lucky right for you?

Lucky is a friendly boy who has been keen to say hello to everyone he has met at the centre. He enjoys a fuss and will lean into your legs for a cuddle. He likes to be with you and will happily spend the afternoon snoozing away on the sofa or comfy spot on the floor.
