Are you right for Tara?

Tara is a beautiful 8yr old ex-racing Greyhound who's looking for a forever home. She is incredibly affectionate and if you are looking for a chilled dog to enjoy a quiet life with, Tara is the girl for you! She'll be fine with older kids who will enjoy having a big snuggle monster like her around! She's perfectly manageable around other dogs out and about but will need to be the only pet in her home so she can settle in properly. A secure garden would be ideal too so she has somewhere to enjoy her zoomies!

Is Tara right for you?

Tara will make a wonderful companion. She's got such a sweet and gentle nature and is basically a big couch-potato! She walks perfectly on lead but can be a little worried by other dogs so prefers to walk in quiet areas. She doesn't look for trouble though and prefers to keep herself to herself. Tara is currently staying in a foster home and has been the perfect house guest. Tara is currently taking medication for a skin condition which is nicely under control. Please don't let this put you off our sweet girl though as our Vet will discuss it in more detail. If you have room in your heart and on your sofa for the adorable Tara, add her to your favourites now!

When we find a match, we’ll invite you to meet them

If we’ve found a dog who seems right for you, we’ll invite you to come and meet them at the rehoming centre.

Some of the dogs in our care will need to meet potential owners several times to get to know one another. This lets us see you’re compatible and gives you …

If we haven’t found the right match, we’ll continue the search together

If we haven’t found the right dog for you within three months, we’ll let you know your application is closed. We’ll invite you to apply again so we have up-to-date information about you, and we’ll keep looking.
