Are you right for Prince?

Prince is a 1 year old German Shepherd X Golden Retriever. He would love a home where he can be the only pet and where his family can help build his confidence as he can find being in new places and environments worrying. He could join a home with children of secondary school age who are comfortable around larger dogs and can appreciate his nervous nature. Prince would love his own secure garden but this is not essential if he can be provided with a safe outlet for some off lead time (i.e hired fields) Once settled, Prince would be ok to be left for short periods of time.

Is Prince right for you?

Prince came into our care with very limited information, he is only young and we expect has not experienced much of the world as he can be worried by new things. He would like to find a family who are willing to help him build his confidence and will take things at his pace to help him overcome things that worry him. Prince is underconfident around other dogs and will need to be kept on lead on walks, he is having some training to help him with his dog socialisation and this is something he will need to continue in the home. Prince is a real sweetie who enjoys a gentle fuss and loves his walks. He has so much potential and will make a wonderful addition to a kind and patient home.
