Are you right for River?

Meet River, a two-year-old heart-melter with the softest soul and the biggest heart. This handsome boy is a certified cuddle monster who absolutely adores attention and being close to his humans. If you work from home, River is ready to clock in as your full-time buddy and professional hug-giver. River enjoys his home comforts and is happiest when he’s cosy, content, and surrounded by his people. Beneath that sweet face is a playful spirit who thrives on fun and games — he’s looking for a home that can provide plenty of playtime to keep him happy and engaged. This sensitive angel needs to be the only pet in a quiet home with peaceful places to walk, as other dogs can make him feel a little worried. He can happily live with sensible secondary school–aged children who understand when he needs a moment to settle in. River would like owners who are around most of the time initially to help him settle, although this can be built up gradually as he gains confidence. He will also need a secure 6ft fence so he can play safely and enjoy his outdoor time with peace of mind.

Is River right for you?

River is an incredibly clever, affectionate boy with so much love and potential to share. From the moment you meet him, it’s clear that he is not only bright but also wonderfully eager to connect with his people. Already housetrained and crate trained, River has a fantastic foundation in place and would transition beautifully into his new home. He takes real pride in being a “good boy,” and it shows in everything he does. This smart young lad knows a whole collection of tricks and absolutely lights up when he has the chance to show them off. Whether it’s for a tasty treat or a bit of extra fuss, River is always ready to impress. When it’s time to play, his joyful, silly side truly shines. Give him a bit of space and a favourite toy, and he’ll delight you with his zoomies and playful energy. Watching him run and bound about in pure happiness is guaranteed to make you smile. At the end of a fun-filled day, River is more than ready to swap adventures for affection. All he really wants is a cosy sofa, a warm spot beside you, and plenty of cuddles.
