Are you right for Tyler?

Tyler is a five-year-old Yorkie cross Chihuahua, he is a very sweet boy with a nervous nature and is looking for adult adopters full of compassion, patience and understanding. He appears to bond easily to females, and it may take him longer to build relationships with males. He could possibly live with another dog, quiet, and calm to help with his confidence. He has no history of living with cats, small furries, or livestock. Tyler is happy to travel in the back seats of the car. He is housetrained. He would best suit a quiet, rural household without too many visitors due to his nervous nature.

Is Tyler right for you?

Tyler takes his time to trust new people and has lived a sheltered life. He will need adopters to take things at his slow pace and not rush him into busy environments until he is ready – he may always appreciate a slow, quiet, rural life! Tyler looks for reassurance and praise. He is not used to walking and likes to be carried. In his foster home he has been enjoying gentle plods and has enjoyed exploring in quiet locations, he is worried of loud noises so definitely appreciates peaceful, tranquil walks. He is not fussed by passing dogs. Tyler enjoys relaxing and exploring around his safe, fully enclosed garden, and adores curling up in his soft, comfy bed. At night he has been sleeping on his foster carers bed. Once he has built a strong, loving bond, he likes to sit on your lap and soak up all the fuss and affection on offer. He follows his foster carer around the house and feels safe right by her side. Tyler likes to play with his gingerbread man toy and when he trusts you, he will bring it to you.
