Are you right for Geoffrey?

Geoffrey is a lovely boy who is looking for a home where he can be the only pet and where any children are over the age of 14. He is house trained and once settled could be left alone for around 4 hours without worry.

Is Geoffrey right for you?

Geoff is currently living the good life in foster care and has been settling in well. He can be rather over excited to greet visitors but he has been learning to calm down and greet people more appropriately. Geoff's foster carer says that he just loves to be close to you and although generally sleeps on his own bed, he does like to sneak up for snuggles in bed on the odd occasion! He has been progressing well with his training and would benefit from learning a station or "bed" que for when visitors come so that he has somewhere to go and be calm. Geoffrey LOVES to go on long sniffy walks, and would love it if his new family could take him to nice places that he can explore without having to see many other dogs around as he can become reactive. As he can be strong on lead Geoffrey will need his new family to be able to manage this and put in some loose lead training. Geoff is a big foody and takes his treats like a gentleman. He also loves his toys but does enjoy de-stuffing any soft ones! Geoffrey will need his new family to understand that he can very quickly become overwhelmed in new situations so will need his world to be opened up at a slow and steady pace that he can cope with before throwing him into too much too soon.
