Are you right for Roxy?

Roxy is a beautiful senior lady looking for a loving home. She could share her home with children as young as eleven. She is looking to be the only dog in the home and a home without cats or small furries. Roxy is housetrained and she travels well in the car. Roxy is instantly friendly with new people and could cope with a reasonably busy home environment.

Is Roxy right for you?

Twelve-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier Roxy is the sweetest and most gentle of girls. She loves human attention and adores a fuss from anyone. In a home environment she loves to snuggle up with you on the sofa, nudge your hand for more fuss and then fall asleep resting her head on your lap. She is always keen for a walk, and she walks nicely on her lead. She doesn’t mind walking past other dogs, but she will avoid interaction from them currently, preferring to give them a wider berth. She loves to play with toys and have a game of fetch with you. Moving forward, a future home will need to be mindful of her age-related mobility issues. She sleeps well all through the night snuggled up in her own bed.

When we find a match, we’ll invite you to meet them

If we’ve found a dog who seems right for you, we’ll invite you to come and meet them at the rehoming centre.

Some of the dogs in our care will need to meet potential owners several times to get to know one another. This lets us see you’re compatible and gives you …

If we haven’t found the right match, we’ll continue the search together

If we haven’t found the right dog for you within three months, we’ll let you know your application is closed. We’ll invite you to apply again so we have up-to-date information about you, and we’ll keep looking.
