Are you right for Agnes?

Agnes will need to be the only pet at home whilst she works on social skills. She can live with teenagers and is house trained, but we're not so sure that she is used to spending time alone so will need her family to be prepared to put time into building up solo time gradually for her. Agnes came into our care with a docked tail which is illegal in the UK unless for medical reasons or certain working breeds. We do not condone unnecessary tail docking.

Is Agnes right for you?

Everyone who meets Agnes is greeted in the same enthusiastic way and then they marvel and how beautifully soft and dense her fur is! She just loves to say hello to everyone and likes to be close to you, preferably in your lap if she's able. When out for her walks Agnes is very excitable and it takes a while for her to calm down, if she does at all. She will jump up at passers by, only to say hello, but she would certainly benefit form some training that encourages her to keep her feet on the floor when doing so. Agnes will also bark constantly when she sees other dogs. This isn't because she doesn't like them, quite the opposite, but it's not a behaviour that should be encouraged. Again, Agnes will need some further training on her social skills and interactions with others, and lots of help is available from the team at the centre who can put her adopters on the right plan. Agnes is still a young lass and if guided in the right direction she is just brimming with potential. She's super friendly and loves to play with tennis balls and is looking for an active family.
