Are you right for Benji?

Benji is an 8 month old Jack Russell cross, we are told with a Shih Tzu. He is an absolute live wire but a bundle of fun and love at the same time, therefore he is looking for a home with people who are going to continue his training as prior to coming to us, he had lived quite a sheltered life and is currently figuring out how to be a dog! He will need a lot mental and physical stimulation to keep his busy, terrier mind satisfied. As Benji is needing some routine and training, and is learning how to keep his four paws on the ground, he will need any children in the home to be 12+ and he could live with another dog pending a successful meet at the centre. The dog in the home will need to be tolerable of an over excited 8 month old who thinks he is still 8 weeks and be a good role model for Benji!

Is Benji right for you?

Benji is a bundle of fun, he is figuring things out day by day, how to have freedom and fun around fields, how to play with dogs, how to settle down once he's had a load of fun and how to not jump up like a yo-yo when he wants to say hello! He is learning quickly though but will need his new humans to continue this training in a positive manner whilst also having a load of fun and cuddles with him! Benji loves to play, with tennis balls mostly and is learning how to interact with enrichment type toys too. Once Benji has had a good run, he loves to jump on your lap for bum scratches and then rolls over for his belly time! He really is a wonderful young boy who is going to make such a fun, loving companion.
