Are you right for Basil?

Basil is an energetic, happy little pooch who is full of Terrier mischief! He was found as a stray and could do with a little confidence building as he can be a wriggly boy, but it rarely takes him long to figure things out. Basil can live with children of around secondary school age as long as they are happy with his puppyish behaviours. He can also share his home with other dogs, provided they get along well in mixes in centre prior to rehoming.

Is Basil right for you?

Basil is less than a year old and looking for a home where he can learn all the basics. He knows a sit and paw, but things like housetraining and car travel will need a bit of work. We think he’ll be ok being left for short periods and this can be built up once he’s settled. Basil is high energy and so looking for a family that will keep his brain and body engaged and put in place all the training that he has missed out on. Basil loves to play with toys and with other dogs. He’s a rough-and-tumble kind of pooch who needs a bit of a helping hand remembering when and how to take breaks. If you’re up for the fun challenge of an adolescent Terrier then Basil could be your perfect match!
