Are you right for Mabel?

Four-year-old Cockerpoo Mabel is looking for a quiet, reassuring home with adopters who can offer her time, consistency and kindness. She would thrive best as the only pet in the home, where she can live a quieter lifestyle and enjoy time running around in a secure garden. Mabel would love gentle walks in peaceful areas where she can learn to relax at her own pace, but she will need reassurance during any car journeys. She can feel overwhelmed by other dogs and sudden noise, so patient, observant owners who are able to read her body language and reassure her will be key. She needs adopters who can gradually build up her time left alone as she becomes more confident and comfortable with alone time. She could live in a household with older teenagers, who are able to understand when she needs space. Mabel will also need regular grooming and a home that values calm routines over hustle and bustle.

Is Mabel right for you?

At her heart, Mabel is an incredibly affectionate and loving companion. She adores being close to her people, happily trailing after you from room to room before curling up on your lap for cuddles. Playtime is her favourite thing - whether it’s a game of fetch, entertaining herself with soft toys or chasing a football in the garden. Though she can be timid in new situations, once she feels secure, her sweet personality really shines. She settles beautifully at night sleeping on the bed or at your feet, and while she likes to know where you are, she’s also content to relax nearby once she’s comfortable. Mabel is the kind of dog who forms deep bonds with her people, offering loyalty, warmth and love to someone willing to give her the patience and reassurance she needs.
