Are you right for Rocco?

Goofy and independent boy Rocco is a 7 and a half year old Husky cross Malamute who can either be the most playful boy or a little on the aloof side. He is a happy fun dog to be around, but does also like his own space at times. He is super playful and loves zooming around after toys, or playing chase with his favourite humans. He likes a fuss on his terms, he will wander over for fusses and then will head off exploring sniffing when he is done. This top lad is ready to find his new home.

Is Rocco right for you?

Rocco is looking for a home with loving and active adopters who can take him on sniffy adventures, who will take the time to help him settle in and give him all the love and attention he deserves. He is a polite boy, but does like his space, so he could live with secondary school children who will play nicely with him and give him space to rest when he needs. Rocco could live with another playful and friendly dog, who knows when it is time to take a break, this will be pending successful meets at the centre. Living with another dog is not a necessity, he would be happy with friendly and playful walking buddies. He has some training under his belt, he does a lovely “sit” and “paw”, but chooses when he wants to do so, when he is the mood for it, he enjoys learning and will engage in training for a tasty treat. He would like a home with a private or communal garden to have a potter around and play in. Rocco could be left alone for up to 4 hours, this would need to be built up slowly once he has had time to settle into his new home. Rocco will need to meet his adopters a few times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet him within 48hrs of being shortlisted.
