Are you right for Loki?

Loki is a sweet, sensitive boy who has had a difficult start in life. He is looking for an adult only home with no visiting children as he requires quite a lot of guidance and time. He will need to be the only pet in the home but can have dog walking friends to build up his social skills. He will need a lot of exercise and mental stimulation and is very strong on the lead. He is an excitable, playful boy when he knows you. Loki really enjoys having company from his people so will need someone around for him all the time. As Loki can be worried by new faces he will need to have a few meets with potential adopters before going home.

Is Loki right for you?

Loki has had a lot of upheaval so his next home needs to be his forever home to give him stability. He needs gradual socialising with dogs that he doesn't know. He can be very vocal on lead when he sees them, so he will prefer to be walked in quieter areas and having his own secure garden for off lead fun times. Loki needs owners to be around for him for the majority of the day as he doesn't cope with being alone. New owners will need to be prepared to get him used to being by himself very gradually. This may mean having suitable back up support at times. You won’t be applying for a specific dog, but you can tell us what type of dog you’re looking for. You can also add up to four favourites to your application to give us an idea of the dogs you like, so we can consider you for similar dogs. Once you’ve submitted your application, we can’t change or update your favourites. Adding a dog to your application is not a reservation but a guide for us to find you a match.
