Are you right for Eddie?

Eddie is looking for a calm and relaxed home, with adopters who will take him on sniffy strolls, who will play with him and give him all the love and care he deserves. Adopters with knowledge of his breed and grooming needs would be beneficial. He is a friendly boy and can live with children aged 12 years and over who will play nicely with him and will give him space to rest when needed. Eddie could possibly live with another dog that is happy to calmly coexist alongside him, and he would be happy with calm and polite walking buddies. Eddie has some training under his belt, he does a lovely “sit” and “stay”, he can lose interest in training quite easily and is a little hard of hearing. He has been housetrained, but may need a refresher in his new home so access to a private or communal secure garden is needed. Eddie can get a little worried being left alone, he could be left for up to 1-2 hours, this would need to be built up slowly once he has had time to settle into his new home. Eddie is on daily medication, which our vet team will discuss further with potential adopters. Eddie will need to meet his adopters a few times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet him within 48hrs of being shortlisted.

Is Eddie right for you?

Gentle soul Eddie is a 13 year old Miniature Schnauzer who is just looking for the quiet, leisurely life, where he can sit back and relax after a gentle stroll. He likes a fuss, especially a back and neck scratch and will happily climb into your lap for ultimate cuddles and snooze time. A tennis ball is his favourite toy, he will chase it if thrown for him, he likes teddies too, but doesn’t bringing them back. This pawsome guy looking for his new sofa to snuggle on.
