Are you right for Doug?

Doug is looking for his forever home with a family that can continue his basic training and dog socialisation and can offer him a calm, loving home and the chance to go on new, exciting adventures. He can be bouncy and excitable at times, so he is looking for adopters who are comfortable around large breeds. Doug needs adopters who understand he can be worried by meeting new people at first, but it does not take him long to warm up to you. He will need to be the only dog in the home, but he would enjoy having walking friends. Doug would love his home to have a secure garden where he can learn his basics and have a safe place to explore and play, as Doug loves to play with toys.

Is Doug right for you?

Doug is an absolute sweetheart and has won the hearts of his canine carers and is adored by all who work with him here at the centre. He is sure to make you smile with his adorable face and waggy tail. He adores nothing more than spending time with his human friends, and he has a very sweet nature and is very affectionate. He loves soaking up all the attention, fuss and cuddles from his favourite people. Doug is a friendly, excitable and lovable boy who enjoys his walks and having cuddles. Doug does need more dog socialisation and training as he can be a little intense and overly excited when making new doggy friends. Doug is going to make a fantastic addition to someone's family; he will fill your home with love and joy.
