Are you right for Buffy?

Say hello to the lovely Buffy! This sweet girl has had a bit of a tough start, but she’s now ready to turn the page and find her forever home. Buffy absolutely loves her toys, especially a good game of fetch and once she feels comfortable, she’s all about rolling in the grass and snuggling up for fuss. We feel Buffy would be best suited to a calm home with children 16+ who can learn to understand her body language. It's important she can have her own safe space to retreat to if she's feeling scared or overwhelmed. Buffy needs her own safe and secure garden where she can safely play and explore without any worries. She’s previously lived in a home and was housetrained, though she may need a little refresher as she settles in again. Buffy can find it difficult being left alone, so she’s hoping for a family who can be around most of the time and help her build confidence with gentle, consistent support. Buffy is currently hoping to be the only pet in her new home and would love a family who can continue supporting her socialisation once she’s settled into her forever home. For now, she may benefit from enjoying walks in quieter areas while she builds confidence and works on her social skills. Buffy's favourite things are either snuggling up on the sofa with her favourite people, off lead zoomies at the secure field or learning some new skills which means lots of tasty treats!

Is Buffy right for you?

Buffy can be a little shy at first and takes her time to build trust, but with patience and kindness, she soon blossoms into a playful and affectionate companion. As she can find meeting new people a scary experience and prefers to have space when our on her walks, for this reason she's learning to wear her muzzle which she's learning means lots of tasty snacks! Her new family will need to be committed to spending time getting to know her here at the centre before she heads of to her forever home. If you think you could offer Buffy the loving home she deserves, we’d love to hear from you!
