Are you right for Bruno?

Bruno is a good boy who is house trained and could be left for around 3-4 hours once settled. He will need to be the only pet in the home but could live with children over the age of 12. Bruno is extremely over weight and will need his new family to be committed to helping him on a weight loss journey to help with his general health. Bruno has some stiffness in his joints that may require pain relief in the future, however his current weight is not helping matters. He also has an ear infection that may require ongoing treatment.

Is Bruno right for you?

Bruno is a gorgeous big friendly giant! Although he was initially a little worried by his new environment he has now found his stride and has been quick to make lots of new friends. He loves his walks and is keen to investigate everything, but he can be very strong on his lead so will need his new family to be able to manage this. Bruno has been happy to greet everybody here with great enthusiasm, even our vet, and will happily accept any fuss and attention with a waggy tail. Bruno has made good progress with his social skills and does seem to enjoy the company of some dogs more than others so will need to be the only dog in the home with friends outside to continue building his confidence. Bruno loves his soft teddies but does tend to prefer to entertain himself with them, he will trade for another or a tasty treat so his new family should avoid trying to take them from him. Whilst Bruno is used to travelling in the car, he does struggle to get in due to his weight so owners will need to be able to help him in or invest in a ramp!
