Are you right for Archie?

Archie is a sweet dog who is looking for a forever home where he can truly shine. Archie needs a household without any other pets where he can soak up all the attention to himself. He can get a little overwhelmed in busy or noisy settings, so a quiet and predictable environment is exactly what he needs. An ideal adopter would have experience with excitable or sensitive dogs, as they would be able to support Archie’s ongoing training and emotional needs. With your understanding, Archie will blossom and gain confidence in his new surroundings. A secure outdoor space is a must for Archie, where he can relax and enjoy playtime safely. Since he shows signs of separation anxiety, it’s important for him to be in a home where someone is around most of the time, and time left on his own will need to be built up gradually over time. This will help him feel safe and loved. Archie thrives on positive interactions and would benefit greatly from continued support and training to unleash his full potential. Archie has the potential to live with secondary school-aged children who understand his background and can be sensitive to his needs.

Is Archie right for you?

Archie is a six-year-old Labrador Crossbreed who came to us from a multiple-dog household, some of whom were found to have foreign microchips. Due to this, Archie was placed under strict quarantine while we carried out the necessary health checks to ensure they are not carrying any diseases that are non-endemic to the UK. This process has caused a delay in our usual assessment timeline, and we are still getting to know Archie's personality and needs. As such, some of the information we provide may be subject to change. Despite this, we are very keen to find Archie a loving home. If you are interested in adopting him, please apply online today. Archie is a bundle of joy who lights up any room with his excitement! The moment he spots someone new or is showered with attention, you can bet he’ll leap into action, bouncing around in sheer delight. Sometimes, he needs a little moment to settle down from his energetic greetings, but that’s just part of his charm! Archie is a true cuddlebug. He absolutely adores fuss and cuddles, often leaning in to let you know he wants just a tad more love when the stroking stops. His friendly nature means he greets everyone with an enthusiastic wag and bright eyes, instantly making new friends wherever he goes. When it comes to playtime, Archie has a soft spot for toys, especially the fluffy ones he can shred to pieces! Whether he’s having a solo play session or enjoying some interactive fun with his human, he brings a whole lot of joy to the game. Archie has a good appetite and takes treats with a gentle demeanour, making him a star when it comes to training. With his combination of energy, friendliness, and love for cuddles, Archie is sure to be a loving companion for anyone lucky enough to have him by their side!
