Are you right for Rudi?

Rudi is a striking Labrador cross, nearly 2 years old, and full of character. He has come into our care from a home where he was housetrained, crate trained, and comfortable being left alone for a few hours. In his new home, this will need to be reintroduced gradually once he has settled. Lively and energetic, Rudi is looking for a family who can keep up with his zest for life. He absolutely LOVES getting out and about exploring, though he sometimes forgets just how strong he is. His new owners will need patience, confidence, and a willingness to continue his training, especially around managing his strength and enthusiasm. Because of his bouncy, excitable nature, we feel Rudi would be best suited to a home with children aged 10+ who are comfortable around larger dogs. He would also benefit from having a garden where he can zoom around to his heart’s content. As he travels well, he’d enjoy trips to secure fields where he can safely run and play. At the moment, we are still assessing Rudi’s interactions with other dogs. For now, he will need to be the only dog in his new home, though this may change as we get to know him better. He isn’t suitable to live with cats.

Is Rudi right for you?

Rudi is a fantastic boy, full of fun, love, and enthusiasm. He adores people, though he’s still learning some manners, such as keeping all four paws on the ground and walking nicely on the lead. With a family who enjoys training, adventures, and plenty of play, Rudi is sure to thrive.
