Are you right for Pedro?

Pedro is looking for a calm and predictable home with active adopters who can take him on sniffy adventures and provide him with fun and mentally stimulating enrichment to keep his brain busy. He can live with older primary school aged children who understand that he can be a little worried at times and will give him space to rest when needed. Pedro can be a little worried around other dogs, so is looking to be the only pet in the home with no visiting pets to begin with, so he can enjoy all of his adopter’s attention to himself, he could have polite and friendly walking buddies who will let him approach at his pace. Pedro has some training under his belt, he does a lovely “sit”, he is a clever boy, but can get distracted easily, he can engage in training in short, sweet session with the help of a tasty treat. He likes to potter and explore in peace so access to a private, secure garden is needed. Pedro can be worried being left, he would need adopters who are home the majority of the time, any leaving time would need to be built up slowly once he has had time to settle in. Pedro will need to meet his adopters a few times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet him within 48hrs of being shortlisted.

Is Pedro right for you?

Happy and wiggly Pedro is a 1 year old Retriever cross who loves to play. Soft toys are his favourite, he will bounce around after them, then carry them around in his mouth. He likes a fuss, and will lean on you for more, he especially likes a head and neck scratch. He is not a fan of a bath, and cannot wait for it to be over, but surprisingly he likes a hairdryer. This cute and goofy lad is on the lookout for his new home.
