Are you right for Pebbles The Pug?

Meet Pebbles the Pug, a delightful 5-year-old with plenty of personality! Pebbles is looking for a forever home where she can be the only pet. She can be a bit vocal around other dogs due to her lack of confidence, but our behaviour team is available for one-on-one sessions to help with socialisation. Pebbles is a friendly and loving little lady who has enjoyed meeting everyone at the centre. She’s used to being around children of all ages, though she prefers children in her new home to be over 6 years old and respectful of her need for space.

Is Pebbles The Pug right for you?

Pebbles was brought to us because her previous owner had to move and couldn’t take her along. She takes a little time to adjust to new environments, so a home where someone is around most of the time initially would be ideal. While a garden is a plus, it's not essential as long as she has regular access to outside spaces for exercise and toileting. Pebbles may occasionally pace in circles when stressed, but she relaxes in off-lead areas and enjoys pottering around. She loves attention but can be shy when touched around her head, including when putting on a harness, so gentle reassurance is key. She travels well in the car but might need assistance getting in, as she’s used to riding on the back seat. Pebbles knows commands like sit and paw, and while she is housetrained, she might need a refresher after her time in kennels. Pebbles is ready to bring joy and companionship to a loving home.
