Are you right for Cora?

Cora is super sweet but sensitive girly. She does take a while to warm up to people initially, and will bark and move away if she is unsure of you, but when she knows you she is super cuddly and loves a snuggle. Cora needs to live in an adult only home, as she is worried by children and has had problems with them in her previous home. She would ideally love a quiet home without too many visitors, and with people who are willing to take their time building her trust and going at her pace. Cora does love playing with other dogs, but she can get a little intense and chase when she's really excited. She could live with another dog in her new home depending on a successful meet in the centre. We have been told that Cora did guard treats and objects from the children in her previous home, but we haven't really seen that here, it's just something to be aware of in the future. Cora is a super smart girl who absolutely loves her food, so this makes training and making new friends a lot easier if treats are involved. Cora can be a little worried in the vets, but as long as the vet takes their time and is understanding about her being worried then she should be okay for her future visits. She also really loves her enrichment, enjoys a kong, snuffle mat and a puzzle feeder. Cora could potentially be able to be left for up to 4 hours in her new home, but this would need to be built up slowly and only once she is settled. Cora is a playful girl, she really likes her soft toys and chasing a ball. She can get excitable when she knows you, and loves nothing more than a cuddle with her favourite people

Is Cora right for you?

Cora is toilet trained, travels really well in the car, is crate trained. Cora does pull on the lead initially but does settle after a while, she absolutley loves her walks and having fun in our fields. Overall Cora is looking for a quiet patient home where there wont be too many visitors or changes in her routine, and can give her all the love and cuddles when she is ready to receive them.
