Are you right for Pepper?

This unique little lady is Pepper, a 1 year old Pug Crossbreed with the cutest ears you've ever seen! Pepper has spent her time so far here at the Centre growing her confidence and feeling more comfortable around new people and environments. She can find life a little bit scary at times, so we are looking for a quiet, cosy home for her. Pepper would do best in an adult only home, or a family with older teenagers that understand she will need her own space at times. She does love to come up for a cuddle on your lap once she has gotten to know you, and she will be very happy having a snooze down by your feet! Pepper is looking for a home without any other pets as we have no known history around cats, and she prefers her own space over sharing it with another dog. Pepper's adopter(s) should be able to be at home with her when she first arrives so that she can comfortably settle in and get used to her new surroundings! After this, leaving time should be able to be gradually increased. Pepper is still gaining courage when out in the big wide world, but she does like to sniff out her surroundings and potter around an enclosed outdoor space. It would be amazing if her adopters continued her confidence building on walks once she has settled in her new home. One major help with this will be Pepper's enthusiasm for treats!

Is Pepper right for you?

Pepper is a sweet little lady who just needs someone to show her lots of love and comfort. She is still a young dog, and she has come on fantastically during her time here at the Centre so we believe she will begin to thrive with a routine and space to come out of her shell. If you think Pepper could be the dog for you, please submit an adoption application and include her as a 'Favourite' dog. Thank you!
