Are you right for Donna?

Donna is a 2-year-old sweetheart who may be a little shy at first, but she is friendly and warms up quickly once she feels comfortable. She can feel worried when meeting other dogs, so she will need ongoing, positive socialisation and would really benefit from having calm walking buddies to help build her confidence over time. Donna has a medium energy level — she enjoys her walks and getting out and about, but she’s just as happy to come home afterwards for a cuddle on the sofa. She cannot be left initially, and any time alone will need to be introduced slowly and gradually once she has fully settled.

Is Donna right for you?

Donna would be best suited to patient, committed adopters who understand that building trust takes time. She can live with children aged 14+ who are able to respect her space when she needs it, and she would need to be the only pet in the home. A key must-have for Donna is adopters who are willing to commit to multiple meets at the centre before she goes home, allowing a bond and relationship to develop first. With the right support, time, and understanding, Donna would make a truly lovely and rewarding addition to her new family.
