Are you right for Joey?

Meet Joey, he's a 1-year-old Lurcher who has the best ears! Joey is full of personality and is ready to find his forever home! He would love adopters who are able to continue opening the world up to him and take him on lots of fun adventures. Joey is a young pup full of energy who could live with dog-savvy children aged 12+, provided they are comfortable around bouncy dogs. He loves people and would be happy to have regular visitors once settled. Joey could live with another dog who has a similar playstyle to Joey and can tolerate his energy, pending meets at the centre. He would not like to live in a home with cats, small furries or birds. Joey could have 2-4 hours of leave time, but would like this time to be gradually built up. He dreams of having a garden in his future forever home whether it's private or communal so he can burn off some energy. He really enjoys his enrichment activities and using his clever brain and would love his adopters to carry on incorporating enrichment activities in his routine.

Is Joey right for you?

Joyful Joey is a little ball of energy. He loves to keep busy and use his brain on his training and enrichment activities. Joey can usually be found throwing toys around in his kennel or zooming around our secure fields at the centre, making his handlers laugh. Although, Joey can be really playful, he will also come over and lean into you for some cuddles. He likes to settle down after a run-off with a lovely snooze, whilst resting his head on someone’s lap. He will make the best addition to his forever home!
