Are you right for Dolly?

Dolly is a beautiful 2-year-old Saluki cross with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She is incredibly friendly when meeting new people and will always want to come over to say hello. Full of energy and enthusiasm, Dolly is bouncy, playful, and eager to make friends wherever she goes. She thrives in an active home where she can enjoy plenty of walks, runs, and opportunities to explore, along with time to burn off energy with her signature zoomies. Dolly would suit a family who can match her lively nature and give her the space she needs, including a large, private garden where she can run freely. She can live with primary school-aged children but due to her excitable play style and size, they must be confident around larger dogs. While she has no known history of being left alone, she settles well in her kennel with toys, suggesting she has the potential to adapt well to a routine with gradual alone-time training.

Is Dolly right for you?

Dolly is a confident and social dog who gets on well with other dogs and reads their behaviour appropriately, making her a great companion for a home with larger dogs or fellow sighthounds. However, she does show some prey drive, so she cannot live with cats or small furries and care should be taken around small dogs when out and about. Despite this, she can walk alongside smaller dogs with appropriate management. Dolly enjoys both independent play and interactive time with her humans, making her a versatile and engaging companion. Her moderate energy levels mean she will happily join in with active days out but also settle after exercise. Dolly is looking for a home that understands her needs, can provide consistent guidance, and will embrace her affectionate, fun-loving nature—she’s ready to become a loyal and joyful addition to the right family.
