Are you right for Blanket?

Say hello to this scruffy boy Blanket! He is an 8 month old Lurcher looking for his forever home. Blanket is a beautiful boy who has had a rough start to life, but is growing in confidence everyday! Blanket is the goofiest boy, who is super clever and loves to learn new things. Blanket loves a playtime with a flirt pole and loves fluffy toys. He is able to live with another dog in the home, but will still need ongoing socialisation and to learn his manners but he's doing super well with his polite greetings here in the centre! A well-rounded, confident dog that is able to teach him how to play appropriately would be wonderful for him. We are unsure if he has ever lived in a 'typical' home, so he will likely need some work on his toilet training, time being left alone and understanding how homes work - but he picks things up very quickly so we have no doubt he'll smash this. He is looking for calm, patient owners that are wiling to put time and effort into this gorgeous lad - he is incredibly sweet and rewarding to work with!

Is Blanket right for you?

Blanket is a very foody boy, so this will help with any training needs. He also loves lots of fun, tricky enrichment to keep his brain nice and busy! Blanket has started to use his mouth a lot more, especially if he's feeling a bit overwhelmed, but he is doing great at learning appropriate outlets! Blanket is a very loving and playful boy, so he is looking for patient and understanding adopters. Blanket is so good at being fitted with his harness - he stands beautifully! He settles really well in his kennel, often found curled up in his bed resting. He's very confident despite his background, and he is becoming a boisterous, bouncy puppy! Blanket would love to be curled up in his name-sake, cosy on his forever sofa. We cannot wait to see his full potential to shine through in his new home!
