Are you right for Gus?

Gus is a handsome boy whose love of play can hide a more sensitive side. He’ll need an understanding family that are able to work on his anxieties and understand that he can mask this with some boisterous behaviours. To set him up for success he will need an adult-only home with no other pets. Gus can have some doggy walking friends but lacks social skills so will need further training with this. Gus has arthritis in his right shoulder and is on ongoing pain medication to help manage this. Gus is currently out living in one of our amazing foster homes.

Is Gus right for you?

Gorgeous Gus is a 6 year old Lurcher and is looking for a family to help him feel calm, safe and secure. He adores going on quiet walks, as this brings out his gentle and calmer side. Gus is fully housetrained and can be left for a few hours once settled in his new home. He will jump into a vehicle but can become restless whilst travelling so will prefer local walking areas from his new home. Once he’s settled with someone he’s a huge snuggle-monster who loves fuss. Gus also loves toys and food, meaning that there are plenty of ways to reward him during his training, and it should be a fun experience for all involved. He uses his love of toys as a comfort tool and likes to carry them around with him. If Gus sounds like your kind of dog then add him as a favourite today!
