Are you right for Dotty?

Sweet natured Dotty is seeking her forever home. She can live with dog savvy children over the age of 11 years old who can give her space when she wants time alone. She would like a private secure garden to explore in and help with housetraining. Knowledge of the lurcher breed would be beneficial due to her prey drive. Must be the only dog in the home and cant live with cats or small furries. Dotty can walk with calm dogs and will need ongoing dog socialisation in her new home as can be a bit unsure and bark.

Is Dotty right for you?

Dotty is a beautiful 11 year old lurcher seeking a sofa to call her own . This lovely girl is currently in Foster with one of our lovely foster families. She loves nothing better than snuggling up on the sofa and watching the TV, she is a delight to have in the home. Dotty can be left alone for up to 4 hours once settled in her new home. She doesn't need hours of exercise but has displayed reactivity towards others. A low populated dog area would be ideal as this would manage her stress levels better . Being a lurcher she loves fluffy toys likes to chase them and carry them around. Can be a bit shy on first meeting new people but soon gains confidence and loves a cuddle. She loves her food and treats this will be a good tool to build a bond with her.
