Are you right for Nero?

Meet Nero! This lovable boy is looking for a warm and caring home or foster home where he can truly shine. He would thrive in a adult only home with someone he can call his own! His adopters would benefit from having experience of larger breeds and he would need to be the only dog in the home. Nero has been doing wonderfully with his social skills, making a few special doggy friends at the rehoming centre. Nero enjoys peaceful walks and would love a calm environment where he can continue building his confidence. He may be a little shy with new people and visitors at first, but once he gets to know you, he’s an incredibly loyal and affectionate companion. He’s housetrained, travels well in the car, and has good history of settling in a loving home. Due to a heart murmur, he benefits from a relaxed lifestyle, which is easily managed with care and medication. If you're looking for a devoted, gentle, and friendly pup to complete your family, Nero could be the perfect match!

Is Nero right for you?

Nero is a four-year-old Cane Corso who is truly one in a million! This affectionate boy is the ultimate snuggle buddy—he loves nothing more than spending time with his favourite people, soaking up attention, and enjoying plenty of fuss. His excellent house manners make him an easy and delightful companion. Nero adores relaxing in our staff accommodation bungalow, where he can be close to those he loves. While he can be a little unsure of new things, he’s naturally curious and happy to explore at his own pace. He is sensitive to loud noises like thunder and isn’t a fan of walking in the rain, but he makes up for it with his love of indoor fun and cozy moments. When it comes to walks, Nero prefers shorter adventures—variety keeps things exciting for him! He can be strong on the lead at times, so his new family should be mindful of this. To balance his lower-exercise lifestyle, Nero thrives on mental stimulation. He’s a quick learner, knows plenty of tricks, and absolutely loves food-based training. He also enjoys playing chase and tug with his toys. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, and playful companion, Nero could be your perfect match!
